Getting all wet in a sudden rain, no umbrella to be found,
Cooling the heat of inner pain, with a whisper’s sound,
Plaster my hair into my eyes, make my toes go ‘squish’,
I look into the cloudy skies, attempt to cast a wish,
Yet now the stars will hide away, behind a silver cloud,
A simple price for me to pay, for the world turning ’round,
I spin and tumble into the mist, that shrouds your lying eyes,
My little pen will capture this, moment the world cries.
