Wings Of Summer

Leaning lightly with grace, like a reed in the wind, I sway to the melody of stars,

Smiling with a knowledge, a new found strength, in the tracks of inner scars,

Whispered softly, into the moaning night, all the secrets of the waters wild,

Into the waiting ears, of a woodland mistress, Summer’s winged ascending child.

  1. Thank you for taking me there… “I sway to the melody of the stars,” “all the secrets of the water wild,” … I ascend as I read these words… thank you RowanOak
