Sunshine Daydreams

When the night was breathing with a subtle spell,

And stars danced on the surface of the lake,

A night bird called to the waning moon,

And I swayed to the song of the darkness,

There was a space of breath, between the pines and the oak,

Where I danced between dreams like rain drops,

There was a weightlessness, like a ghost of a wanting,

Where a fire once threatened to consume me,

Lightly do I revisit this place of alpine refuge,

Where waves tickle bare toes covered in tar balls,

When the sun kisses my bareness on the river bed,

And eagles circle high above me…
