An Ocean Of Pages

Glistening like dew in the morning light,

My lips moist and smiling,

The receding wave of the previous night,

Is an aftertaste on my tongue,

Drenched in the sea, and the tides of change,

I do the back stroke on my sheets,

Moving on alone, well out of your range,

Only pages fill my arms.
