Haiku Happy Hour 3

   Apple of my eye

Looking so sweet and juicy

   Let me take a bite

   On your soft white skin

Freckles like constellations

   Counting with kisses

   Wildflowers bloom

In the sunshine of your love

   I pluck them and smile

   Your lips of honey

Lure this bumble bee closer

   Into your petals

   Taste buds remember

The moist hot bed of my mouth

   Where you lay sleeping

   Through open windows

The smell of your perfume wafts

   And for you I swoon

   Musicians are good

At playing lonely heart strings

   The music of love

   ‘Please don’t write a poem’

She says shyly with a blush

   What a muse she is
