Welcome Home

Lightly leaning lunar light,

Refracted in the mirrored night,

Reflected in my silver sight,

Emboldened bones, a winter rite,

Lovely waves of bygone seas,

Fluctuating tides off loss and need,

Whispered softly hopeful pleas,

To a midnight sky I do appease,

Given there an olive bough,

By the cloven hove of Mother Sow,

Knowledge with a card endowed,

Through the veil, a glimpse allowed,

River whispers over root and stone,

Wind rustles and trees moan,

Standing in the night alone,

My soul has found a welcome home.
