Like The Wind

Love once made me a fool

In a sea of desire she watched as I floundered

Now steel wings bear me to you

Warm in your arms my heart is not squandered

Be you a ghost or an echo of lust

Haunting pages and wet lines of my ink

I have conquered the fear of trust

It matters not if my passionate vessel sinks

Remember when you look in my eyes

That I have given freely of all you may take

This smile is no cheap disguise

Nor is my kiss a rookie’s mistake
